The Preserve at Wolf Laurel, a gated mountaintop family community adjoining Wolf Laurel Resort in the Blue Ridge Mountains town of Burnsville, North Carolina, is now taking reservations for home ownership. Approximately 4,800 feet above sea level, this 1,300 acre planned community offers long-range views and an ideal climate. Although not restricted to 55+ active adults, Wolf Laurel could be a great North Carolina retirement community.
Amenities
The Preserve and the Resort offer swimming, skiing, horseback riding and miles of trails with direct access to the Appalachian Trail. The Village at the Preserve’s heart has an outdoor pavilion with seating for 150+, an outdoor kitchen, stacked stone fireplace and restroom facilities for the adjoining heated pool. Also at the Village are three tennis courts; a heated swimming pool, a basketball court, sand volleyball court, a well stocked trout pond which has a fishing pier and a tree fort with a great playground for the youngsters.
