Country Living just Miles from Phoenix
The relaxed community of Buckeye, Arizona sits just 35 miles west of Phoenix. It provides a welcome relief to the bustle and noise of the big city.
Buckeye was established in 1877 by a group from Iowa travelling west, looking for good health in the desert. Since more people are rediscovering the charm of this Phoenix suburb, town planners created a plan to develop a 600 mile area around the city.
Buckeye keeps family at its focus offering car shows, crafts, food, and family fun throughout the year. Buckeye Days is the official “city bash,” and combines the Senior Pro Rodeo with the Pioneer Days activities to create a weekend of family-friendly events.
Buckeye offers a simple life with plenty of options for the next direction in your life. Below, we highlight some of the Buckeye retirement communities.
